Sarah was born with a non-progressive muscle weakness; Congenital Fibre-Type Disproportion. It was known from early in her life that she might suffer one day from Scoliosis. In the summer of 1999 she was told that surgery would be required. Below are links to stories about her surgery, her experiences and her recovery.
